Unanswered How to imagex /capture c: (capture c drive)

    How could I capture c drive by imagex ?

    Does it need to create boot image which can execute imagex ?

    Yes you need to create a boot image (winpe) with imagex.

    Boot on your winpe and run imagex.

    But why don't you use a build and capture task sequence in MDT insteed of doing it manually?

    yes you will have to restart the reference computer and boot into the boot image (preinstallation image). Make sure that you copy your imagex program to your boot image. I don't believe you can run imagex on the same drive you are trying to copy. So make sure that you include imagex into your boot image.
