    Hi,

    im Receiving a OSCDIMG Failed rc = 1 when im trying to create a Media DVD.

     

    I have Three Task Sequences Two Windows 7 and One Windows XP.

     

    Starting MDT Media Update

    Opened the media deployment share.

    Folders to be copied to the media deployment share: 14

    Since OSCDIMG isn't reporting a useful error (just return code 1), it's hard to say what it didn't like.  It would probably be best to contact Microsoft Support to investigate further.

    Did you end up with a solution from Microsoft Support?  I'm having the same issue when trying to create USB media.

    NO i didnt, but what i did was to delete the MediaDVD in the Workbench and recreated it and also changed the Media path to the C:\ and that worked, but the dvd is 11gb....

    sometimes this problem occurs when the iso file is mapped in a virtual machine as boot device

    This was simply an out of disk space issue in my case.

    The comment above sounds like the user already had the same named file mounted as an iso in a virtual optical device, which would be a similar scenario, where basically MDT, or the tools it uses, cannot write to the ISO.
