MDT2012: Deploying in 802.1x secured network possible?

Sorry if this is a silly question. I did some search but it is not mentioned anywhere.
I found 802.1x support in WinPE features and how to 'Joining a Wired Client to a Domain' in a 802.1x network in this article.
If I were to enable 802.1x feature in WinPE, rebuild boot image, then start deployment. MDT is supposed to use the credentials in bootstrap.ini to authenticate in wired network. And that's all the work needed, right?

WinPE/MDT wont work in a wireless environment. Period!
Don't waste any more time on this.

Monday, October 29, 2012 3:04 AMThank you for your reply. However I was referring to 802.1x(the authenticiaion protocol), not 802.11a/b/g/n (wireless networking).
I read that Added support for 802.1x in Windows PE here:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/deploymentguys/archive/2010/01/15/added-support-for-802-1x-in-windows-pe.aspx
But no further info is found. I wonder if/how 802.1x in MDT would work. -

Hi, another link http://blogs.technet.com/b/deploymentguys/archive/2010/03/02/adding-support-for-802-1x-to-winpe.aspx
Includes 2 documents (ENU and ES), deployed with MDT 2010 and W7.
