Proposed Answer Dart7 Reboot with MDT2012

    Hello,

    i have installed Dart7 on my Server2008R2 and imported this in WDS/MDT.

    After my credentials the computer reboots and will not arrive in the wizard for Dart7.

     

    Howto fix this?

    Precisely what process did you follow?

    You would need to install the DaRT7 tools on a machine, take the Tools.cab for the appropriate architecture, add it to the Tools folder in your deployment share (under the appropriate architecture), and then regenerate your boot images with the "Microsoft Diagnostic and Recovery Toolkit 7" option selected under deployment share properties.

    Did you put the correct DaRT 7 "Tools.cab" (x86 or x64) in the correct folder in "DeploymentShare\Tools\x86 or x64"?

    I think i got the problem.

    I am using ADK.

    Dart7 is not compatible with ADK?

    Probably true. I got the same issue with the same setup with DaRT 7.

    DaRT 7 supports Windows 7 / Server 2008R2 / WinPE3.

    So if you want DaRT tools integrated with your MDT boot disk and are using ADK / WinPE4, then you'll need to use DaRT8 to integrate.  If you are using WAIK / WinPE3, then you'll need to use DaRT7 to integrate.

    However, both ADK (WinPE4) and WAIK (WinPE3) can be used to install DaRT (either version) into an Operating System as part of a deployment, so long as you use the appropriate version of DaRT with the target OS.
