    HI All,

MY SOE got C: / D: and System Partition. This PC in TEST work group and all the software and windows updates are installed. So give me the high level steps to follow. i need to push this new SOE for Laptops and Desktop. Also need current user data (USMT) backup and restore.

So far i have tried following

     1. Create a Task for Sysprep and Capture - Sysprep failed ( System drive open pop up comes  and failed)

     2. Disable the sysprep and run manually.

     3. Capture the PC

     4. Create new OS deployment Task

     5. Failed when doing USMT ?

    AS

Let's take one issue @ one time. We will start with Sysprep first.

    1. Now which OS Version are you trying to Capture? XP, Windows 7, Windows 8?
    2. Which Version of MDT are you running? 2010, 2012?
    3. Can you provide details on the error you get when you run sysprep? Can you upload the c:\minint\smsosd\osdlogs on public storage so that we can view it?
    4. Is the reference machine a virtual machine or physical? If physical - Always use virtual machines for capture?
