OEM image modified by MDT breaks OEM activation

Hi!
We have a bunch of HP laptops that we deploy HP's OEM Windows 7 SP 1 64-bit to, using wds(deployment) and MDT(adding apps and drivers).
When we use the CD to install straight from the cd drive on the laptop it works fine and the OS activates automatically. But through WDS with our MDT deployment, the activation does not activate automatically. We have to manually re-enter the activationkey that is located below the battery and then it works fine and activates.
We want the activation to occur automatically when deploying through WDS with MDT!
How do i troubleshoot this issue?
Since most newer laptops does not come with an activation key we sorely need this to work. Appreciate any help!

By the Windows EULA, you are not allowed to use OEM bits to reimage thus there will never be support or capabilities to do so: http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/about-licensing/volume-licensing-briefs.aspx (see the reimaging rights document at that link).Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com

Alright.
The logic in that escapes me but alright. So the proper procedure is to image a regular w7 cd and automate everything except the windows activation?

Read the document, it explains things.
To directly answer the question though, unless you are an OEM, you can't/don't, that's what volume/enterprise licensing is for.
