I have a CIFS share out on a netapp qtree on a volume mounted under /vol/Deployment/DS in NTFS mode. Do I need to be concerned that "Local Path" under the "general" tab of the properties of the deployment point ane not true? The Netapp isn't really a Windows machine, so do I need to be concerned with this?

I have updated the path in the bootsettings.ini and customsettings.ini

     Thanks!

Not if it updates correctly and you can manage it.  The primary problem we have had with netapp boxes is NTFS permissions working correctly when connecting to the share within Windows PE.

Was your filer or qtree set to mixed mode or ntfs only? I haven not really had any issues with netapps in my 6+ years administering one. They have always replicated NTFS pretty accurately.

Tim, do you know what function that “Local Path” plays? Is that just an fyi box for the admin?

    Thanks again for your help.
