    Hello,

I have created my image and created a 'Sysprep & Capture' TS in MDT 2012. From my image I navigate to my deployment share and launch 'Litetouch.vbs' to kick off the process. My question is I had used WSIM to create a unattend.xml file with my customiztions.

Do I take the contents of this file and copy and paste it into my TS or just use what is there (default)?

    Thanx

    ZT

When you create the Task Sequence, everything you answered during the initial wizard (OS Image to use, Admin Password, etc) is used to create the default Unattend.xml plus some inserted information (like calling LTIBootstrap) to make MDT work, so overwriting it with one you created directly in WSIM will probably cause you to lose those critical entries.  Instead, I'd open the one generated by MDT and make your changes to it now, using the manual one you created as a guideline to make sure you don't forget something you wanted to add.  Naturally, I'd also back up the default one before making changes.

As David says, you should edit the existing file with any changes but leave it in the same place.

What changes did you make, pls? you may have gotten away without making any changes.
