    Hi All,

    How to migrate all settings from MS Communicator 2007 - 2007 using USMT 5.0?

    Need to migrate offline address book too...

    Can any one have any idea about it?

    It's an app like any other. Create a custom XML and look through the settings.

    one thing andrew, if i have Microsoft communicator 2005 in my source machine and Microsoft communicator 2007 in my destination machine, how those settings will migrate???

    Can you kindly provide ur suggestion?

    I would suggest checking this first, then check the upgrade path for communicator 2005 if there is one. if there is one, than like AB said, you need to creae your own custom XML file for communicator. There is some research to do, and information intelligence gathering, it is all a part of the process.

    Just a thought.

    I'm assuming you're familiar with USMT. If not, I recommend that you set up a test lab and lock yourself away in it for a couple days. It takes a while to get your head around USMT at first.
