Move MDT 2012 database to new SQL server

Hi,
Found this thread about moving the mdt database to a new sql server:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/mdt/thread/0aac101f-0c95-45dc-8c0d-37e1a3cd5196Its says to "Detach and Attach the db and create 'new' db connection in MDT".
Is it really that easy? Does cs.ini get updated? All xml files etc?
And dows anyone know if sql server 2012 is supported for a mdt 2012 database?

if you detach/attach to an other server, you will have to update your deployment share with the new server name, just go through the process of opening an existing database and then update your deployment rules. make sure to clean the old ones first.
no idea about sql 2012 being supported
