    I am trying to get rid of the DART tools in MDT. I have deleted the toolsx46.cab file from my deployment share and from the mdt install directory and updated my deployment share.

    Whenever you update your deployment share, select "Completely regenerate boot images" or something to that effect. See if that makes a difference.

    And again, you'll want the cab files removed from \\server\share\Tools\x64 (and x86).

    Also, in your Deployment Share, go into Properties of the DS, then select the WinPE tab.  Select your desired Platform (x86/x64).  Click Features tab.  Uncheck Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolkit 7 (DART 7).
