Hello
We have a Hybrid Build with support for 5 hardware, present hardware is a AMD make . Now when we are deploying image in IDE mode , it works just fine , but when we enable the AHCI mode in BIOS , it is failing.
Have made following changes in IDE mode and then in BIOS changed to AHCI , but the machine freeze's at "windows welcome screen"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvstor
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvraid
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\amdsataIn which the value of Start must be set to 0.
Is there a way to make it work? It's driving me crazy
Shiv

Tuesday, November 27, 2012 3:24 PMCheck you have the latest Intel Storage drivers and are imported both in WinPE (3.1 and below only - 4.0 already includes the good ones) and in the deployment of your OS image.

What type of hardware are you deploying? is the fix from here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976?wa=wsignin1.0 working for you? I run it during deployment and it works fine.
