    What will happen if I install both ADK for Windows 8 and AIK for Windows 7 SP1 on a single MDT Server? 

    If I can do this with no problem occurs,  which PE  (PE 3.0 or PE 4.0) will be used by MDT to create the Lite Touch PE boot image?

    No no no don't try to install both.

    You can use AIK / Winpe 3 to deploy Windows 8, ADK is not a must but it is a little more faster and provides some more deployment options.

    But some NIC drivers and Mass Storage drivers nowadays can only support up to Windows 7 and CAN NOT be compatible with Windows 8.

    ADK's PE is Windows PE 4.0 which is based on Windows 8, so some drivers NIC drivers and Mass Storage drivers injected into PE4.0 can lead to some issues.
