Windows 7 explorer faultWhen I open the Control Panel and try to open anything i.e. Add Remove programs I receive a message saying windows explorer has stopped working, the control panel closes and I am back to the desktop. I can access Add Remove Programs through a different route: My Computer, uninstall or change a program.
I can still remove a program I no longer require but this is a bit frustrating if you need to find a way of opening everything else in the control panel!!!
I have already tried to restore missing files through the command prompt by entering sfc, after completion it said something like no violations found.

Running Windows 7

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Pete© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
