Lync is asking for credentials and if I put my id and password then its appears again.  Can any one tell me why it’s asking for password repeatedly.

The lync client is unable to authenticate. Are you using your client internal or external?

    Hi,

were you able to login before or your getting this problem for the first time? check the sign in address from the LYNC Control panel and try again with the correct credentials.

    Hi,dp_zakir,

if you wont mind can you share the SIP stack and S4 trace output from edge server and clinet side UCCAPI logs with us, because this issue may be because of certificate or NTLM or Kerbores issue.

    hello Zakir,

can you please share the error with us for that user??? as only one user is affected, it could be machine specific issue or user profile issue.

have you tried to login that user from other working users machine??

    Hi,dp_zakir,

There must be the NTLM authentication failed on XP client when you set the network security to "Require 128-bit encryption".Details please check
