Is this support configuration with the newly release Windows Server 2008 R2 sp1?
Thanks.

I found that if you have a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 DVD, and do the installation from there, that the installation of Lync will fail on the prerequisite WMF2008R2.
If you look at the error message it is trying to use DISM to add the Microsoft-Windows-Media-Format-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~6.1.7600.16385.MUM package. However with a machine that is a FRESH SP1 (meaning not RTM then upgraded to SP1), that package does not exist.
The SP1 version is
Microsoft-Windows-Media-Format-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~6.1.7601.17514.MUM
RTM = 6.1.7600.16385
SP1 = 6.1.7601.17514
I found that installing Desktop Experience on the machine, and rebooting it will fix the problem and pass the prerequisite check.

When can we expect the clarification, Exchange 2010 is already supported, with the release of SP1.
