    hi

    in the farm level global settings i have enable web confrencing but i still get this error "You do not have the necessary privileges to schedule meetings" when i click schedule a live meeting button in outlook. i have installed OCS 2007 and on client side i have installed MOC 2007 and outlook confrencing addin. there is no edge server as i am testing it on LAN.

    Hi,

    Did you try to start the Livemeeting client and validate if you van setup a meeting from there. If not check your account settings and press the test connection button which tries to make a connection. In some cases the policy is then updated and you arrange a meeting from Livemeeting. If that works then again try it from Outlook.

    i reinstall OCS agian and now its working, though i dont know what went wrong during the first install.

    Hello,

    At time reinstalling everything and starting with a fresh it a good idea when you have done something mess with the settings, but this is not a solution for every problem and specially when you have a critical 24x7 operational server. When you face such issues, event log, tracing logs and error code specially helps to resolve the issue. However it is good to hear that the issue has been resolved.
