Outlook 2011 on Mac and Lync Client Send/Receive issue
-
Wednesday, March 14, 2012 11:52 PMWe just deployed the Lync Client for Macs and we are now seeing that it may have affected Outlook 2011 by causing it not to Send/Receive email consistently. Our users are reporting that they have to manually have to hit send/receive to get email to arrive in their mailbox. Are there any integration files between Outlook/Lync that would have caused Outlook to be affected this way? Any other thoughts?

Hi Steve,
If there is only Outlook for mac 2011, can you send and receive E-mail automatically? Please confirm.
And you can also update your Office for Mac 2011 according to KB2644347. And check again.
In addition, provide Lync for Mac 2011 Integration Requirements for reference. Hope helps.

Thanks Noya. We are looking into options and even opened up a ticket with Microsoft. One suggestion was to upgrade our Exchange 2007 environment to SP3.Steve Curran
