Ad-hoc conference timeout
-
Thursday, May 03, 2012 6:41 PMWe are using several snom PA1 devices which auto answer calls. If we conference them in, they never hang up and the conference remains open indefinitely even if only one device is on the call. Is there a way to set an adhoc conference idle timeout?

Hi,Tim,
Would you please check if the parameter AnonymousUserGracePeriod in the cmdlet Set-CsUserServiceConfiguration meet your requirement?

Hope this does the trick!

I am not sure this will help with the devices in question, since they will actually be logged in to Lync with User Names. However, it should help with another issue I have seen where remote parties forget to hang up when we complete a conference.
Really need an idle timeout for conferences with only 1 party whether they are a Lync Users or anonymous.

Hi,Tim
Unfortunately,Ad-hoc meeting is not designed for a regular meeting and the session will expire in under 8 hours, per my knowledge there is no option to set the conference idle time.
Some information just for your reference.(It's for Livemeeting but some are also available for Lync meeting)
