We are trying to estblish a TLS/SIP connection from Lync to Avaya Session Manager 6.1 utilizing and Audiocodes M3k. Inbound calls from Avaya work fine, outbound is failing. I am looking for any notes or tips on how to make this work.
This is the first error I see in the trace from the M3K

Thursday, May 17, 2012 5:42 PMOutbound from Lync is going through the M3K to Avaya Session Manager. We see the calls in session manger but they dont route beyond that.

You can use the syslog from the Mk3 to see what is wrong.
The connection between AC and Avaya is also TCP so you have a "ip to tel" and "tel to ip" routing?
May be someting is in the manipulation and routing configuration wrong, but you should see this in the syslog of the audiocodes gw.
The error message you receives is from Lync to ac or ac to avaya?

Turns out is was an issue on the Session Manager side. SM did not have the host name configured correctly in the SIP trunk setting. We also discovered a DNS issue on SM and resolved that.- Marked As Answer by Noya LauModerator Monday, May 28, 2012 10:57 AM
