Lync calls only work ok one way

Wednesday, June 06, 2012 6:46 PMWhen I call a lync user from my normal phone, I can hear the lync user talking, but she cannot hear me ??
If she calls from the LYNC client, I can hear her and she can hear me ?
anybody any idea why this is happening?

Wednesday, June 06, 2012 6:54 PMSounds like a media path issue. Is the gateway betweeen your "normal" phone and the Lync clients enabled for media bypass?

I have one machine with SBS2011 installed which has 2 nework cables connected to a CISCO asa 5505. One cable is connected for DMZ to the EDGE (which is not configured yet).
On the SBS2011 I have 2 virtual machines running (HyperV) , one for Lync FE (Mediation, ....) , the other virtual machine is for the LYNC EDGE server.
On the CISCO 5505 I do a PAT for my LyncFrontEndserver using ports 5060 and 5061.
Media Bypass is enabled on the mediation server.

Wednesday, June 06, 2012 7:28 PMWell other than your configuration not being supported it seems like it should work. I would turn off media bypass and see what impact that has.

My sipprovider told me to turn it on?
What would be a supported config , using my current sbs and virtual machines?

I turned off media bypass, same issue.
And when I call from my cellphone the call is disconnected after 30 seconds, as if the lync does not know it is still connected

I do notice that when I call to the LYNCuser I get a error in Wireshark saying Unknown RTP version 0 , it looks like LYNC is taking the call, but it cannot actually connect correctly or so;ething like that ?
