Outlook 2010 Zoom Settings
-
Tuesday, April 27, 2010 6:08 PMIn the Reading Pane I was able to select the zoom settings to 150% and it stayed there for all other folders. On the just downloaded 2010 from technet the zoom does not stay in place on the reading pane and changes for every message and has to be re-zoomed. I found this feature incredibly helpful for reading email. Is anyone aware of a way to save the default zoom setting. I have tried to change it from a "New Message" window as well and just changing it in the zoom settings. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
To change this under Outlook 2010, select New E-mail and mouse click in the body of the message text.
Click "Zoom" under Message tab. Set the percent to 150% and click OK. Then zoom settings will be saved and it will not change for every message. If it works, please feedback the result.

Thursday, April 29, 2010 4:07 AMThere has got to be a way to keep the zoom persistant after setting it. One would think you set it to 150 it stays there until you move it back. It worked that way in the beta..... Thanks in advance.....

Thursday, May 27, 2010 12:16 AMI am having the same experience and frustration. Outlook Help thinks the zoom level will remain persistent, the program appears to have been intended to work that way, but in practice the zoom level does not remain persistent. Looks like a bug.

Let me join in sharing the same experience and frustration. The zoom persistency worked without a flaw in the beta version. Now there's a flaw. There must be an easy fix. Would someone from MS please chime in here?
