Hello,
Im dealing with a compatibility issue on our terminal servers. The situation is as following:
- User 1 logs in to terminal server 1 and works with Outlook 2007 32bit, everything works fine
- User 1 logs in to terminal server 2 and works with Outlook 2010 64bit, everything works fine
- User 1 logs in to terminal server 1 and works with Outlook 2007 32bit and receives the following error:
"U have a previous version of the microsoft exchange messaging service"
After some research i found out that since Office 2010 there is a new version of the Outlook profiles, wich is too new for Outlook 2007 to work. Is it possible to use a 2007 profile in Outlook 2010, and make sure it doesn't convert the profile to the new 2010 version?
Kind regards,

Hi,
Please read following content, hope this helps:
Microsoft recommends that users roam only between computers that run the same version of Microsoft Outlook. If you have roaming users on an earlier version of Outlook, make sure that you upgrade all the users and the computers in a single area (such as a domain) at the same time. New features in Outlook 2002 are not available to users who have Outlook 2000 profiles. This may create confusion for users who roam in an environment that has a mix of Outlook versions. This also applies to any programs that the roaming users are using.
