    Dear TechNet team,

I am using a third party software that configurates with Office Acces 2010, through which I insert data.
After I input the data, I try to export the data to an Excel 2010 file. When doing so, I encounter an error.
I approached the designer of this third party software, which told me that his software is working as expected, and that the problem is local to Access 2010, which is why I was direct to the Microsoft support.

The error message reads the following:

The format in which you are attempting to output the current object is not available. Either you are attempting to output the current object to a format that is not valid for its object type, or the formats that enable you to output data as a Microsoft Excel, rich-text format, MS-DOS text, or HTML file are missing from the Windows Registry. Run Setup to reinstall Microsoft office Access or, if you're familiar with the settings in the Registry, try to correct them yourself. For more information on the Registry, click Help.

How may I resolve the issue in order to export the data file to Excel 2010 format?

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

As this issue, please check whether the SP1 for Office 2010 has been installed.

If not, install it and check whether the issue will occur.

Note: Please close the destination Excel workbook before exporting.

    I've installed SP1 for Office 2010.

I then received a message that "There are no products affected by this package installed on this system"

Of course I have an Office Starter 2010, and an Access 2010, and for some unexplained reason- I can't seem to export the Excel file from the Access data base....

Looking forward to receiving some more helpful tips :)

    Thanks for your time,

    Best regards,

    Elad

    Hi,

“There are no products affected by this package installed on this system” this error shows because SP1 has been installed already.

Try to uninstalled Office 2010 and downloaded the full version again and was able to upgrade to SP1.

Then to check whether the export issue will still occur again.

    Hey,

I just went and uninstalled Office 2010, then reinstalled it, and downloaded SP1.

I get the same error. Not only that, but Office features seem to be working slower now.

I'd really appreciate it if you could reexamine a possible way to help me and enable me to use these products.

Thanks a lot for your time and efforts,

    Elad
