All pages created with Send to OneNote 2010 are covered with black box
-
Tuesday, May 03, 2011 5:31 PMWhen I first open a page any sections created with Send to OneNote are very briefly displayed, less than a second, and then covered over with a black box. The notebooks I am sharing via web open ok on my tablet pc. Desktop is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (64-bit). Tablet is running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit with Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (32-bit). Everything had been working last week. OneNote version on desktop is 14.0.5128.5000.

Hi,
Try clearing the cache on the machine where you see the items in black.
1. Close OneNote.
2. Click Start, choose Run and type OneNote.exe /safeboot.
3. Click on the Clear Cache Option.
4. Sync the notebook and see if this resolves the issue.
Thanks!

Clearing the cache completely wiped out my notebooks. Thank goodness I had them synced in Skydrive.
I suspect that a Windows update screwed up the display in OneNote. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks,
