We can protect the information via change the Registry Key.
Open the Registry Editor, following
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/Explorer
to find “NoFileAssociate”, change the value to 1. “1” means the users cannot change the file properties, “0” means users can change the properties.
Then save and restart the computer.
