Installing Visio 2000 on Win 7 broke Access 2003

Had Ms-Access 2003 working great for weeks.
Then installed Visio 2000 to flowchart some things.
Now Ms-Access 2003 doesn't work.
The error message says: Microsoft Office has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution
is available.
Then it says: There was a problem sending the command to
the program.
I noticed when Visio 2000 was installing, it changed a number
of things including the DAO 3.6 VBA reference.
How to I recover from this problem ?
Thanks. Ed. . .Ed505

You should never install (a program from) an older Office version after a newer one.
Uninstall both Access 2003 (or Office 2003 if you have the complete suite) and Visio 2000.
Reinstall Visio 2000 first, then Access 2003.
