When trying to view an Excel or Word document, it would try to load then display out of memory issue.

I would then save the attachment, click on properties, unblock and the document can then be viewed normally.

Has anyone got any idea on how to fix this so when I just click on the attachment is appears instead of having to save it and then change the settings.

    I am running on Win7 64bit.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Try disabling all the add-ins in both Excel and Word and then perform a clean boot in Windows to rule out the causes of third party add-ins and programs:

If it doesn’t work, try disabling the Protected View in Word and Excel to verify if it would be the reason. You can refer to the following steps:
File >> Options >> Trust Center >> Trust Center Settings… >> Protected View >> uncheck Enable Protected View for Outlook attachments option >> OK >> OK
