    According to the Security Bulletin and KB article MS12-027- KB2597112 only applies to Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components Service Pack 3 and not to Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components Service Pack 1 (SP1) for the 2007 Microsoft Office System or Office 2003 Add-in: Office Web Components?  I wanted to verify this was correct?  Do these other packages / versions not contain the file / control in question and thus not need the update?  Thanks.

    Hello Brian,

    The updates from MS12-027 that correspond to the different versions of the Office Web Components are the following:

    KB2597112 (Office 2003 update) - Applies to the Office 2003 Web Components when at a version of 11.0.8003.0 or 11.0.8173.0 (SP3)

    KB2598041 (Office 2007 update) - Applies to the Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components Service Pack 1 (SP1) for the 2007 Microsoft Office System when at a version level of 12.0.6213.1000 (SP1) or 12.0.6425.1000 (SP2)
