Hi all.
We have next problem on all machines which are in following configuration:
Windows XP SP3, Office 2010 with all updates installed through WSUS(including SP1). Office Outlook is configured in non-cached mode and messages delivering is set to local PST.
When creating file using either Word or Excel and then go to File\Save & Send\Send as attachment email is created with some text in the body and send. Everything seems ok.
But email stay at Sent Items in mailbox on Exchange Server(not going to local PST) without text in the body and recipient also receive email without body's text. Attachment is exist.
Please tell how to fix this behaviour.

Hi,
According your description, this problem affect all machines not particular machine, and the sent item message stuck in Exchange Server.
As my experience, this issue is more Exchange Server relevant. In order to get the answer effectively, it is recommended to post a new thread in Exchange Server Forum for further discussion.

Hi William,
thank you for response.
I cannot agree with you. This problem affect all machines with windows XP, but on machines with windows 7 or server 2008 and Office 2010(deliver messages is set to local pst) everything is working fine. So I incline to think it's office 2010 problem.
May be this help. As far as I know OS is using mapi32.dll for email messages that created with context menu on any file or from excel, word when outlook 2010 is set up as default mail client. And versions of mapi32.dll on both OS(windows XP and windows 7) are match(1.0.2536.0 ) but they have different size and different descriptions(XPClient.010817-1148 and vista_rtm.061101-2205 accordingly).
This library is installed when installed Office 2010. So I tend to think it's malfunction of office 2010.
May be there is some hotfix for it or something?

William,
PST is set to UNICODE.
I also tried to remove SP1 and without SP1 we have the same behavior. May be you have other suggestions for fix?)
Thank you.
