I installed the Outlook 2007 Add-in. I'm running Vista OS.
I get the following message: "You don't have the necessary privileges to schedule meetings. Please contact your LiveMeeting administrator."

I did not have this issue when I had XP. I also am administrator on my PC.

I've googled but the information I've found must be for a XP OS becuase the steps provided can not be followed on this OS.

Any suggestions on how to resolve?

    Hello butlerdm,

This issue stems from one of three possible causes:

1.) You are attempting to connect to a OCS server for scheduling your Live Meeting, in which case you will need additional assistance from an OCs administrator, due to your account not being provisioned correctly.

    or,

2.) You are attempting to have the Outlook Add-in connect to a portal, and either your AD account associated with the portal, or you Live Meeting account do not have the correct privileges to schedule a meeting.

3.) You are simply connecting straight to the Conference center, and do not have the necessary privileges to schedule a meeting.

Also, the fact that you are an Administrator on your computer/network has no bearing on your status on the Live MEeting conference center. These two accounts are completely separate, and it is quite possible you are a power user with no Live Meeting organizer rights.

Thanks for the info but turns out the URL setting I had was wrong.

Once that was corrected the problem went away.
