    Hi,

    I am trying to upload a PPTX file to live meeting but am getting the below message.

    "The file can't be uploaded to the meeting because the program required to review the file is not installed or the file is corrupted. You can try uploading the file from a computer that has the appropriate program installed."

    Client: W7x64; Office 2010; ie9; LM 2007 v8.0.6362.201;

    MS VBA for applications appears to be installed (I started Excel and clicked Alt-F11).

    All assistance greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Donal

    Hi,

    These two factors will also lead to failure in uploading PPT files,please verify on your system.

    1.You have installed  the update that is described in KB article 980926.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2316205

    2.If  the presentation contains sildes that will made by using the live meeting 2005 add-in for powerpoint,you maybe not able to upload it to live meeting 2007.

    Please remove the live meeting resource slides from the file and try again.

    Hope this useful.

    Sharon

    Having the same issue here with Client: W7x64; Office 2010; ie9; LM 2007 v8.0.6362.201;

    The *only* solution we've found is to rebuild the PC's having the problem.  Uninstalling and reinstalling Office and Live meeting .201 still results in the ppt and pptx files not being able to be uploaded with the same error as in the first thread.

    Have used brand new clean ppt and pptx files with just the word 'test' in them and still the error message.
