    Hello,

I'm currently looking at the possibility to move to Exchange Online. We use an on-premise installed MS CRM 4.0 that connects to our existing Exchange server using the CRM 4.0 E-mail router. Does the e-mail router work with Exchange online?

crm email router currently does not support exchange online. The support for this configuration may come out in near future.

Can you direct me to any definitive webpage that addresses this, or better yet tell me the configuration is now supported?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Any word on this?  We are in the same situation and this integration is important.

    Thanks

From what I know of the email router, using it to connect to Exchange Online using the "exchange" settings will not work, they aren't exposing the legacy Exchange services required for a connection. However, now that Exchange Online supports pop3 connections, you should be able to use it as pop3.
