    Mike,

Microsoft Online provides a Mailbox Migration tool (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd867650.aspx) to automate the task of migrating mailbox content (including Calendar) from one or many on-premise Exchange mailboxes to their respective Microsoft Online (Exchange) mailboxes. This is available for all Microsoft Online Administrator's through the Admin Center (https://admin.microsoftonline.com).

Alternatively, you may use Outlook's Import/Export feature (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070/en-us) to accomplish this if you did not need to automate this task.

    Hope this helps,

    Hello Justin,

Thing is we need to keep the existing email accounts as they are as they are the employee main mailboxes for their Company. We want the hosted exchange as a common platform for 3 companies working on the same project and sync these calendars with their normal ones.

    Many Thanks

    Mike.

    Mike,

It sounds like you are looking for a hosted shared mailbox, or a "public folder" functionality.

Microsoft Online does provide a tool for synching mail in the manner you specified.

The  Mailbox Migration tool will migrate mail from your mail system into ours, and even has the capability to setup forwarding rules in an Exchange server so that all new mail sent to your mail system is forwarded to ours, but changes made in your mailbox's calendar in your mail system will not sync to Microsoft Online.

The Mailbox Migration tool is meant for use when you are wanting to use Microsoft Online's mail system but do not want to change your MX record and thus have every user at a particular domain on Microsoft Online's system.

The only scenario that I can think of that would fit your needs is for you to create a single user account (or one for each project) in our system, providing credentials to this accounts to all 3 companies, and have them either configure their Outlook client to connect to this mailbox (Outlook can only connect to one Exchange server per profile), or log into OWA to view/edit calendar items.

    Hope this helps,

Hi Mike, the only thing I know of that sounds like it might fit what you are looking for is from Cemaphore.  http://www.cemaphore.com/index.php.  Their product can sync a user's calendar between different systems.
