If an end user is interested in utilizing the Exchange Hosted Archive, and currently has Lotus Notes in a third party in-house email archive solution as well data on a large number of tapes (~500 tapes), is Microsoft able to assist with extracting/de-duplicating and converting the Lotus Notes data to Exchange format from the third-party email archive and 500 tapes?  If so, what is the process to extract/de-duplicate/convert this data and migrate it into the hosted archive?

    Thanks
    Luis

Our ForeFront Support team can help you migrate your current archiving solution to ForeFront Archiving (Exchange Hosted Archiving).  The messages will first need to be stored on PST files and no larger than 2 GB files.  So if you have 50 GB of archived messages, then that would be 25 PST files.  Since you are coming from Lotues Notes, you can use an Lotues Notes Outlook Add-in to use Outlook to connect to the Lotus Notes mailbox and perform the export of an PST.  Fore more information and details, please contact our ForeFront Support team at 866-291-7726.

    I hope this information helps
