    Using outlook 2007.

User creates an invite with the live meeting plugin but it gets stuck in the outbox. Fully patched pc. I have already tried ipconfig /flush dns

Task 'Live Meeting Transport - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x80040115) : 'The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.'

Make sure Outlook is online and connect to Exchange server properly before sending LiveMeeting invitation.

Does it work when you sending normal meeting schedule?

Does it work when sending meeting invitations by LiveMeeting console?  Would you also recreate Outlook profile have a try?

All users or only a user experienced that problem?

What else LiveMeeting issues do you have?

    Best regards,

I am having exactly the same issue.  My Outlook profile has been recreated, but I still have the problem.  I am the only user our internal IT knows of that has the problem.

I am having a very similar problem except it works with external users but not it wont if they are in AD.  I receive an error when trying to send and receive with the following error code (0x80040115).

I removed and re-installed the addin and it worked on a test send (to a someone on AD) but then hasn't worked since.

Anyone on this thread find a solution?

    Windows XP

    Office 2010

Has anyone had any luck with this issue? We have several here in our company with the same problem. It is only LiveMeeting invites that stay resident in a users Outlook outbox. I've confirmed connectivity as everything else is leaving the inbox, reinstalled the add-in (10 step process) and recreated the user profile. No luck. Next stop, MOSDAL. I'm thinking this issue is another LiveMeeting issue that has been buried in the MS blackhole based on what I'm finding online?

This issue scares me. More people having it on a daily basis and to go through all of those steps above to troubleshoot and to find it doesn't work doesn't sit well. Seriously hoping Lync Online Meetings behave much better than LiveMeeting.

    Hi jmn2021, I found a fix.

When you send out a meeting invitation, click the "from" button to the left of your name, and select "live meeting transport". That worked for all my users in my office.

After 3 weeks of support from MS, it seems as though the live meeting outlook addin for on Office 2010, only works if you are running outlook in cached mode. Since we are not, selection "live meeting transport" each time you send out a LM invite, will work.

    Hope that helps you

Thanks for the info, Les. If you change the "from" button the reflect the transport, will that chnage the way the invite shows up in a users Inbox? Will the invite show up as from me (jmn2021) or from "livemeeting transport"?

I've found Lync Online Meetings to be much more reliable compared to LiveMeeting.
