    Hi,

We are thinking of migrating to Office 365 small business plan. We have two email addresses. Is it possible to have one email address under Exchange Online and the other forwarding to an external email address? If so, how do we setup the forwarding for the second email address?

    Thanks in advance,

    Lyj

    Greetings Lyj!

You're going to need to be a little more specific in what you're asking before I can tell you if it can be done or not.

    Hi Vickie,

    I thought I did! :)

    Two users with email addresses:
    user1@domain.com and user2@domain.com

Currently user1 has a hosted Exchange email acccount (Not with Office 365), user2 has an email address that forwards to user2@domain2.com. Can we mirror this setup with migrating to Exchange Online (Office365)? Therefore user1 will be on Office365 and user2 will still forward to user2@domain2.com?

    Thanks,

    Lyj

    Hi Lyj,

I have previously done that by contacting MOS Support and providing them with the email address of the original mailbox and the one that emails need to be forwarded to.

you also can choose if you want to leave a copy in the mailbox and forward, or simply just forward everything to the other email address

    Hi Lyje1,

What i Understand is that you are having two domain domain.com and domain2.com. One is associated with BPOS and One with O365.

You have user1@domain.com on BPOS, and user2@domain2.com on O365.

Now tell me what you want?

user1@domain.com to send a copy of message to user2.domain2.com

    or

    user1@domain.com to send a copy to user2@domain.com to user2@domain2.com

    or

    user2@domain.com to user2@domain2.com

    Thanks,

    Ritesh h
