I am trying to find out what the video bandwidth requirements are for Office Communicator Online. One of our clients has a concern that if people start using the video functionality that it will start lagging their network.
Even though OC Online is in the cloud, their video feed will still originate from the client machine, so this will impact their network in some form or fasion, just not sure by how much.

Hi Justin,
At this poing OCO doesn't actually allow audio/video traffic to traverse firewalls, so it would only work if it was on the same network (either via private Wide Area Network or VPN).
Yes you are right - the OCS component in the cloud is effectively just handling services such as address books, signalling and presence updates. Any audio/video/text traffic is directly between the two clients.
You can find the bandwidth requirements for various qualities here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/gavingee/archive/2007/11/26/communicator-2007-bandwidth-requirements.aspx
