Hi guys!
I Have a quick question - Is it possible to integrate an Oracle database to Sharepoint 2010 using BCS out of the box, or does this require the creation of a coustum WebService? my hope is to accomplish this with as little use of code as possible.
Thanks in Advance

Hi,
Is your question regarding SharePoint 2010 on-premise or Office 365 SharePoint 2010? You question will need to be posted in the corresponding forums depending on which one you will be using.

It is possible to integrate SharePoint 2010 using BCS, but it will require some coding on your part or a third-party application to do with work for you (with untested levels of success).
To integrate oracle with BCS, following this guidance from microsoft that provides an XML example:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff464424.aspxIf you are hoping for an "easier" solution, requiring less burden for coding, you may want to look at something like BCS Meta Man:
