    I only have SQL 2008 R2 setup in my lab and wanted to know if this version is supported before I start the installation.

    Speaking of supported, is a list of AVIcode installation prerequisites anywhere?

    • MSSQL Server 2005 SP2
    • MSSQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP3, Express Edition with Advanced Services SP3
    • MSSQL Server 2008 (SP1 recommended)
    • MSSQL Server 2008 Express Edition (SP1 recommended), Express Edition with Advanced Services

    I believe there could be problems with R2, but..

    AVIcode SEViewer does run on R2, and it does not complain in any way from what I can see. So far I have not noticed any problems with AVIcode Advisor either. I guess you might try using it with R2.. at your own risk:)
