Use the format <domain\computername$> in SQL Logins - How?
- I am attempting to move the SCOM databases, i am at the AC database now and I am using these directions: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc540397.aspx, I am at the step where you add the ACS collector server to the database login, and I cannot add it because it cannot find that account. I only see builtin, users and groups as my options. Everywhere I've looked I cannot find a much more simplier explanation than add a computer account. Help would be much apperciated

Hi,
When you add the login just write it in the textbox in the given format (DOMAIN\COMPUTERNAME$) and don't try to browse anything. It should work.
