Answered Not Monitored even the agent is running!!!

    Hello,

    I have one machine "Windows Server 2000" yes it is still active I could not get the server monitored by SCOM.

    The SCOM Agent is running and installed fine  but still nothing going to the SCOM Console. The machine is "Not Monitored" Other Windows Server 2000  (I have 6) are working fine.

    Hello,

    In Operations Manager Event Log I have the following

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: OpsMgr Connector
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 21041
    Date:  12/4/2012
    Time:  2:45:04 PM
    User:  N/A
    Computer: xxxxxx
    Description:
    Operations Manager has received a bad configuration file for management group SCOM-MED which could not be parsed.  Configuration has been re-requested.  A copy of the bad configuration file will be placed in C:\Program Files\System Center Operations Manager 2007\Health Service State\Connector Configuration Cache\SCOM-MED\OpsMgrConnector.Config.Error.xml

    I check the file it is huge and not sure what to look for?

    Try to download the MSXML6 SP2 and reinstall it. Restart a health service.

    Hello,

    Should I uninstall it first?

    Does it require a reboot?

    I will reinstall it from a new download as it is already installed.
