  You need to have Gateway servers if number of servers are more or you can just deploy certificate on a server. Certificate is must in either of case.. you may refer to below links as well:

  I want to forward the alert from connected management group which is in different domain to local management group to have a single console view. Let me know if there is a steo guide.

  Connected management group can surface alerts in the console of the local management group.

  Here are the steps to connect management groups in SCOM 2007 R2:
