    We are currently in the process of deploying Office 2010 to our user base, and with SharePoint 2010, I am keen to try to use the MySite OSC.

    I have looked at the available settings in the Office 14 and Outlook 14 ADM files and although I can configure Outlook to automatically load the SharePoint OSC, I can't see a way to predefine the site URL nor can I see a way to have it pass through the credentials of the currently logged on user.

    Surely we aren't expected to have each end-consumer configure the OSC for themselves and then update the password Outlook uses for the connection everytime their password expires?

    The requirement seems to be impossible unless we can develop a custom Outlook Social Connector add-in (Not Outlook Social Connector Provider). I would suggest post your question on Outlook for Developers forum below for further support:
