Hello Everyone,
My apologies for resubmitting this question if it has been previously answered, but I have been reading the forums for the past 2 days and have not found a solution that seems to fix the problem.
My boss recently upgraded to Office Small Home and Business 2010, everything was working fine until last week. He has two emails stuck in the outbox that won't send, but the test emails go in and out just fine. There are two additional "phantom" email that will not send as well. The send and receive bar reads "Sending 1 of 4" and never gets past sending 2 of 4. Then when it times out, it starts over sending 1 of 4.
I've tried recreating his account, uninstalling and reinstalling, and changing the smtp port. Any suggestions on something else I can try?
He is running Windows XP and Outlook is version 14.0.6112.5000 (32-bit).
Thank you for your help!

Have you checked that it isn't a stuck read receipt?
See; http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/deletereadreceipt.htmAre there perhaps 3 accounts configured? There is an outstanding counting bug which increases the message count with one for each account that is configured. In this case, the bug is purely cosmetic and no actual additional message is being sent.
