    How do I turn off the insistent logging of 'Conflicts', 'Local Failures', and 'Server Failures' in the 'Sync Issues' folder in Outlook 2007, while in folder view? A sys admin did this for me on my old laptop, but he's gone and no one seems to know here.

    Hi,

    Turn off logging

    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.
    3. Clear the Enable logging (troubleshooting) check box, and then click OK two times.

    I would like to disable/remove these folders also and "Enable logging (troubleshooting)" is NOT ENABLED (Unchecked).

    Other suggestions?  Thanks.

    I have a user with this same complaint, using Outlook 2010.  (Of course it's the President of the company).  We checked and this setting is turned OFF already, but he still gets the sync issues.  How do I resolve this for him please?

    The "Enable Logging" function is just for Outlook troubleshooting, for the folder: Sync Issues", according to my understanding, it is system folder and could not be removed/disabled, but, for normal user, we don't suggest to view the folder list, please switch the view to mail instead of folder list (on the menu of outlook, go, mail), then you will not see "Sync issues"

    If user got many alert in "Sync isssue", you had better check the error code and search by Google, most of them could be found with solution. thanks.

    I dont know who you are, but if you are a Microsoft person, you would know that after Microsoft screwed up outlook we now have to have the FOLDER list just to see the public calendars. trust me I would love to have just the mail showing with the local and public calendars. I dont understand why Microsoft has to make everything so difficult. I would love a basic version that has capability of Professional verison, but is a lightweight copy. In other words, Mail with all the folders listed and calendars without all the fluff.. also... STOP moving things around so much.. there was nothing wrong with the folders in XP... I hate libraries...  and why cant windows media player have a check mark to ALWAYS show list.
