Hi
Thank you for using Microsoft Office for IT Professionals Forums.
To re-enable an add-in in an application that uses the Ribbon
- click the File tab
- Click the Options button.
- In the categories pane, click Add-ins.
- In the details pane, verify that the add-in appears in the Disabled Application Add-ins list.
The Name column specifies the name of the assembly, and the Location column specifies the full path of the application manifest.
- In the Manage box, click Disabled Items, and then click Go.
- Select the add-in and click Enable.
- Click Close.
More detailed information you can refer to this article, How to: Re-enable an Add-in That Has Been Disabled

Hi what does the Outlook Plus add-in do? I have disabled it as it seems to stop my Outlook from opening.
Outlook Plus is an old add-in developed by 3rd party that you installed; it is not part of Outlook as supplied by Microsoft. The add-in's function was to sync your Outlook data (contacts, calendar, etc...) with Outlook on another machine. If you are still looking for this functionality, you could use this add-in as an alternative;
http://addins.howto-outlook.com/codetwo_outlooksyncThe free version supports synching of Calendar and Contacts folders only.

@Max Meng;
The answer of William Zhou is not the answer here since re-enabling the add-in will only crash Outlook as Bernie_D already mentioned in his question. The question also was what the add-in DOES and not HOW to re-enable it.

Hello,
I have a related question. I was using Outlook Express and just bought Outlook 2010. It seems I removed all the add-ins except for one the the system said I cannot remove. I checked one item and then another one was removed.
In any case there is nothing in the disabled add-ins and all have disappeared. I am sure that my start up will be faster, but there was one that seemed to be related to security.
How do I re-enable the add-ins I removed?
Also, if you know anything about Outlook Express, I still prefer reading my emails there, but I am getting duplicate emails now. When I start wanting to use just Outlook 2010, which I have set as my default, how do I uninstall Outlook Express if it comes with my operating system? I don't find it in Add and Remove Programs. It's address is: "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe". I will probably want to stop receiving emails there and just deal with the archives. So, I may not need to uninstall it yet. I could just disable the mail server, then, right?

Hello again,
I apologize, I see the link now that instructs re-enabling an add-in. Can you answer the other question?
Thank you,

Hello again,
That link only helps if there are disabled add-ins. I get a box that pops up that says there aren't any add-ins disabled.
When I click on "Add in Options button", I get a messages that states,
"no add-in property pages to display"
I still need help with this!

Hello,
I just want to mention that I closed the Outlook 2010 application and there are still no disabled add-ins showing. There are still no add-ins listed that I removed to re-enable.
I don't have a clue how to find them again. I couldn't find them under the start-ups in "msconfig" under RUN either.
