I need to create a salesperson specific folder in Business Contact Manager 2007 under the Current View section. I have created the "new view" by going into View>current view>define view>new-add - and that is fine; what I cannot do is define this report to be a specific single asigned user from the available drop downs on the fields options.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi,
So it is my understanding based on the thread that you are looking to create a custom view and you would like that view to show a single assigned to user?
You can accomplish this by doing the following.
Click on Business Contacts > View > Current View > Define View
Choose By Assigned To and click Copy
Once you name your View click OK
Choose Filter > Advanced > in the Define more criteria: click the Field dropdown
Choose User-defined fields in folder > Assigned to User
Set the Condition to contains
Enter the <useralias>
This will give you a view by Assigned to with just a specific user
You can create a new custom view for each user you wish to have this view for.
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
