Outlook Navigation Pane Folder Spacing

No matter what the folder font size is set to the spacing between the folders is large enough to have another folder in between. It would be like double spacing between each folder. The standard mouse pointer (size) fits in the gap between folders. Tried creating another profile and resetting the navigation pane without success.
Anyone have a suggestion or registry entry tweak?

Hi,
As far as I know, the text displaying setting in Windows 7 could cause this issue. You can restore the default setting by:
Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Select Smaller - 100% (default), and then Apply.

Gentlemen,
It kind of fix the issue, but now letters on the normal windows icons on the desktop become unreadable dew to the small size.
