    Hi everyone,

A client of ours is having an incredibly strange issue in which: he saves the body of an email as a draft, with the 'To' box filled in and the subject filled in. He then attaches a file later on from another email, in this case a .doc file. When he tries to send it from his drafts, it says the operation failed. Then the email appears in his inbox (???) Then if he tries to send it from his inbox, it will send, but the body of the email disappears, sending only the attachment.

I have no idea what to do and have no idea what on earth is going on. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Jake

    1. Seems like a client side issue.
    2. Can you, run OLK in safe mode and test?
    3. Test via OWA
    4. Disable add-ins and test

    Hi,

    I agree with Sukh.

The issue might be caused by third party software or add-ins. You also can follow the steps below on your computer to narrow down the root cause:

    1. Start Outlook in safe mode to see if the issue can be fixed:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/work-with-office-safe-modes-HP010354300.aspx

    2. Disable the integration with Outlook feature of your Anti-Virus software temporarily.

    3. Perform a clean boot in Windows 7 to troubleshoot the problem refer to the steps in the following article:
